PGCOS has been providing affordable and nutritious hot noon meals to elderly, homebound, post-operative, and disabled individuals for over 20 years now. PGCOS is very proud of its Meals on Wheels service, and the fact that Meals on Wheels is much more than just food delivery.
How the program works: we collect $95.00 up front which is non-refundable and well provide you with 10 meals of your choice. You can pick and choose as meals as you wish.
Each meal is $9.50 and includes a bun and 1 side. No substitutions. Side options are: Cream based soup, broth based soup, salad, dessert or fruit cup.
We deliver freshly prepared meals are between 10:45 am and 12:00 noon by dedicated volunteers.
Service areas: Meals on Wheels service is currently available in the bowl area, north nechako and parts of College Heights of Prince George.
- Bowl Area: Monday – Friday.
- North Nechako: Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
- College Heights: Tuesdays and Thursdays.
We require 48 hours notice advanced notice of any changes or cancellations. We accept cash, debit, cheque or e-transfers. Cheques made out to: The PG council of seniors. E-transfers can be sent to: mow@pgcos.ca
PGCOS reserves the right to refuse service.
